Brotherhood day* instead of Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day promotes promiscuity and IMMORALITY among youth*
Students Islamic Organisation of India (Mumbai Division) plans to observe "*Brotherhood day"* against the contemporary Valentine's Day.
*For this a peaceful protest will be organized at Bandra Station on 13 Feb,4 pm-5 pm to highlight the ill effects of celebration of valentine day.*
"The celebration of Valentine's Day is nothing, but giving open license to the youth to indulge in immoral acts. We believe that such activities will
erode moral and family values, which ultimately promotes promiscuity amongyouth" Opined Abdul Qadeer (President SIO Mumbai)
Students Islamic Organisation of India is working since last 28 years to prepare students and youth for the benefits of society under "divine
guidance". It requests students and youth community to celebrate February14, 2010 as *Brotherhood day* instead of Valentine's Day. The Valentine's
Day is basically modern concept of showing emotions between girls and boys,which is actually a tool of satan to spread a immorality among them. This not only indulge our youth in destruction of values but also it promotes commercialization of emotions, wherein they will judge the so-called "love"
using the amount their lover spend on them.
